- Cultured mammalian cell latently infected with KSHV in BSL2 and treated it with ethanol and ethanol metabolites.
- Used fluorescent microscope for visualization of latent and lytic KSHV infected cells.
- Determined the percentage of latent and lytic KSHV infected cells using cell counter.
- Performed BCA & Western blot to determine the protein expression levels of KSHV viral proteins.
- Conducted qPCR to determine the mRNA expression level of KSHV viral genes.
- Performed Plate reader assays such as Acetate, ATPase assay and ROS assay on KSHV infected mammalian cells.
