Assisted teachers by managing the room in a way to create a peaceful work environment while the students work on their given tasks as well as keeping the expectations set by the main teacher.
Supervised lunch periods and recess times over grades K-4th.
Aided students individually and in small groups, reinforcing material taught by the teacher.
Established positive relationships with students and fellow staff members to ensure that everyone feels valued and heard, which helped build a positive work environment.
Organized and maintained instructional materials, contributing to a well-structured learning space.
Implemented modifications and other techniques to help the students with support and challenge the students to reach academic goals.
Assisted teacher by preparing instructional materials, whether that be printing, copying, scanning documents, laminating, or organizing materials.
Supported students with behavioral needs and those who needed additional guidance to achieve their goals, so that they can be successful in a general education setting.
Maintained communication amongst teachers and administration to address any concerns with a student's performance, and strategies used to help the students thrive.
I have also implemented deescalating techniques to help students regulate their behavior.
Organized documents for progress monitoring and other forms of data collection.
