Program Design, Management and Supervision

• Supervise a cohort of Early Childhood program sites and staff (i.e. may include site Program Directors and specific site-based staff depending on the structure/vacancies).
• Continuously monitor compliance with various regulations (i.e. ACF, DOH, DOE, etc.).
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards, DOH Article 47, city guidelines, and CA Early Childhood policies and procedures.
• Design and oversee implementation of effective tools for record keeping and systems of communication.
• Depending on site structure or vacancies, there may be times when the Regional Program Director is assuming site responsibilities for a limited time/with support.
• Supervision may shift depending on the needs of each site in coordination with other Central EC Team members.

• Develop and implement recruitment plan to ensure compliance of enrollment
• Meet all program outcomes as outlined by the agency and contractual mandates
• Assure the quality of the program through regular staff supervision, observations, evaluation, staff training and program development
• Maintain and ensure that all administrative details of the program are implemented.

• Worked collaboratively with staff and community agencies to support the needs of families and children enrolled in the program
• Worked with families to complete the Family Partnership Agreements within 45 days of enrollment into the program
• Made approriate referrals for families
• Assess family needs and helped families establish short-term and long-term goals
• Assisted with parent workshops, securing guest speakers and implementing parent activities.
