At this time, I don't have a full time job and have decided to change my career path. Currently looking for part time (20-25 hrs), remote/work from home employment. Positions would include, but limited to, Virtual Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service, Project/Sales Management Assistant or Data Entry.
I have 20+ years experience in the commercial construction industry. As a Solopreneur, I specialized in sales and marketing of natural stone products within the nationwide building industry.
I managed all project orders from start to finish.
The business scope included creating marketing campaigns to secure a large customer base, sourcing international stone materials, inspecting the materials at foreign factories, importing container loads of finished stone products and arranging delivery to the job site. I have a strong working knowledge of construction and the importance of meeting deadline schedules.
Customer relationship management is a crucial key to my overall success. I've traveled extensively to maintain strong customer relationships. I know the importance of understanding the needs and preferences of my customers and the full scope of the projects. Building mutual trust and confidence with a customer is one of my personal priorities. I'm highly effective and comfortable working with people at all levels in their companies.
My nationwide customer base included building owners, major stone distributors and commercial stone installation companies. Typical annual sales were under $4 million.
I've developed a great appreciation for the designers and architects that create the building plans. It has been an added advantage to collaborate with expert design teams when selecting materials and colors that convey their specific design themes. As a result, I have a passion for interior and exterior design.
I have supplied many exterior hardscape projects, such as pavers, retaining walls, statuary and custom-designed fountains. A few memorable hardscape projects include custom paving for Disney, granite pavers for Oprah Winfrey's Ranch in Maui, Hawaii and intricate marble fountains for the National Museum of African American History Museum in Washington D.C.
During the past 20 years, I've attended annual International Trade & Design exhibitions to gain knowledge of new materials and design trends.
