  • Provide GIS support to all departments but mainly land, routing, environmental, engineering and operations.
  • Create landowner exhibits showing proposed assets.
  • Edit and update company-wide GIS data for web mapping use and visualization.
  • Specifically responsible for updating and maintaining GIS data for the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP), existing and proposed Eureka lean and rich lines in Ohio, company-wide storage well lines, the Greyhound System, and a variety of other proposed and existing lines within the Viking and Strike Force and Husky systems.
  • Work closely with land and right of way agents to create custom exhibits at landowner’s request.
  • Communicate with title agents and assist with deed plotting, aerial interpretations, and editing of parcel boundary lines based on environmental surveys and/or deed plats.
  • Convert Google Earth files when applicable.
  • Export KMZs, shapefiles, and/or geodatabases for environmental contractors.
  • Classify and attribute GIS data associated with applicable parcel information and/or pipeline statuses and specifications.
  • Prepare customized large maps for viewing and discussion purposes for management and/or construction meetings.
  • Create and export exhibits for pipeline stream impact crossings, culvert crossings, timber mat crossings from XY data for DNR submissions.
  • Map foreign utilities and create railroad exhibits based on CSX guidelines and regulations. Rectify old CSX maps to reference original sources of information.
  • Assist with the measuring of proposed assets on properties for land and PMO purposes.
  • Prepare reports to show percentages and progression of acquired parcels, when applicable.
