Summary

I have been teaching high school for the past thirty plus years. While teaching, I attended all necessary training and maintained the certification needed every five years. I maintained records on seventy-five to ninety-five students daily. I was constantly involved in fund raising for the school and students. Most of the time I was teaching, I was also working a part-time job in the evenings.

I retired from teaching after the first semester of the school year. The principal requested another semester due to the fact that the scores from AP Psychology were high and that increased the school's overall score. While teaching, I would have study sessions at night at least once a month and more often as the exams grew nearer. The attendance rate for these night reviews was 95% of students.

I have found that retirement is not giving the creative outlet I need. I am seeking employment to stay active and engaged.
