S.S.T.A.R (stroke survivors taking aim at recovery, 03/01/15, Present, This group volunteers at Memorial Central hospital to help encourage and motivate other survivors never to give up and there is life after stroke. We educate families of what it means to have a stroke and how to defeat every obstacle and what possible things to come or not come. I personally teach each individual that "we're not handicap but handicap-able as we can do whatever everyone do; it's just might look different" and to embrace the new life.
