Sewing: Currently owner/operator of Shadow Oaks Creations
I started Shadow Oaks Creations in June 2019 following my retirement from Davidson County Schools after 33 years in education. Sewing is a skill I learned from my mother and grandmother. It gives me joy to be able to create things for people. It started with quilts and lap throws as gifts and developed into much more over the last three years. Along with my husband, we set up at local craft and vendor shows. I currently offer kitchen towels, bowl koozies, pillows, memory bears, quilts, lap throws, and holiday/seasonal decor in my booth. I accept custom orders for many other things.
