Duties: Responsible for the development, performance, supervision, evaluation and sustainability of early intervention and school-based prevention programs. Manage annual process to complete program budgets for the department and presents budgets to agency leadership for approval; represent department and participates in agency leadership meetings; provide departmental accountability to The Council’s accounting, IT, and other departments; act as a liaison between managers and agency/other departments’ leadership; plan and facilitate monthly department managers meetings and quarterly department meetings.

• Duties: Responsible for the day to day operations of the Elementary Program and program oversight of the Prevention Resource Center (PRC) as well as a small grant through the PRC; ensure grant and agency requirements are met for all programs.; directly supervise five elementary staff and three PRC staff; responsible for compiling all program quantitative measures and quarterly reports and submitting in a timely manner; and serve as a representative of the agency at coalition and/or committee meetings as assigned.

• Duties: Responsible for the day to day operations of the Elementary Program which provided a comprehensive program at several schools throughout Harris County using a research-based curriculum entitled, “Botvin’s Life Skills Program;” compiled program quantitative measures and quarterly reports and submitted in a timely manner; provided community with alcohol and other drug education and information presentations and health fairs as needed; and attended community meetings to serve as a liaison between families and agency.

• Duties: Taught a life-skills curriculum to at-risk youth at Bellaire, Lee and Yates High Schools.; participated in teacher training and in on going peer consultation groups; documented activities and compiled monthly statistical reports on services provided; provided information and made appropriate referrals to community resources as requested; provided the community with alcohol and other drug education and information presentations as needed and inventoried and maintained program supplies.
