• Responsible for direct nursing care of critically ill patients in the mixed ICU. Patient population includes cardiac, medical, cardiothoracic surgeries, multiple system organ failure, multiple trauma, and neurological impairment and surgeries. Precept and mentor new staff nurses. Active member of Grant's Critical Care Work Team.

• Responsible for the overall financial performance, operations, human resources, marketing, and quality assurance for patient transportation services (Mobile ICU, ALS, BLS, and wheelchair services) and courier services for Mount Carmel Health.

• Responsible for supervising daily operations of the patient transportation services (Mobile ICU, ALS, BLS and wheelchair services) and courier services for Mount Carmel Health. Responsible for the staff development needs of medical and non-medical employees.

• Responsible for nursing care of adult and pediatric critically ill patients requiring inter-facility medical transportation.

• Responsible for developing, planning, and presenting educational programs on critical care topics. Topics included basic and advanced ECG, hemodynamic monitoring, intra-aortic balloon pumping, and variety of other critical care topics. Site coordinator and instructor for American Heart Association's Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training

• On a full-time and/or contingent basis was responsible for direct nursing care of critically ill patients in the Coronary Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Neuro Intensive Care Unit, and Medical Intensive Care Unit at Mount Carmel West Hospital and Mount Carmel East Hospital.
