Braider Operator
Responsible for operating and maintaining braiding machines used in the production of coaxial transmission lines. This involves setting up the machines, ensuring a continuous supply of materials, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting any operational issues. The role also includes some physical tasks like handling materials and maintaining a clean work area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Braiding Machines:This includes setting up the machines, loading bobbins with wire or cable, and ensuring the machines run smoothly.
- Material Handling:Obtaining and positioning operational supplies, such as empty take-up reels, filled bobbins, and raw materials (wire, cable, filler).
- Quality Control:Detecting and reporting defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to supervision.
- Troubleshooting:Identifying and addressing issues like broken wires, empty bobbins, or other operational faults to restart the machines.
- Maintenance:Performing routine maintenance on braiding equipment, including lubrication and minor repairs.
- Record Keeping:Maintaining relevant records, such as braid reports, scrap reports, and inventory levels.
- Safety and Cleanliness:Following environmental, health, and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Collaboration:Working with other operators, mechanics, and supervisors to ensure smooth production.
