Summary

I am currently finishing up my AAT degree at Palomar College in San Marcos. Since starting, my academic success has only increased. I have math experience and am also a Literature major. I previously worked at the Toyota Premier dealership in Poway as a cashier for almost 2 years. I did enjoy my time there as a cashier for the service side, but I ended up leaving to focus more on my studies. My current job as a Student Peer Mentor with the Office for Student Success has been wonderful and taught me more skills such as experience in supporting individual educational achievements among classmates through incremental progress and campus resource offerings. Encouraging, thoughtful presence on- and off-campus with natural affinity to build community and promote peer achievement. Being able to balance work and school is important to me, hence why I have such a strong work ethic and will to do better than I was before, ensuring I manage my time effectively as well. I enjoy speaking with new people, am not shy, and am willing to talk to whoever wherever! I can say that my time working at Toyota and Palomar College gave me more knowledge on how to deal with various people and situations, and for that, I am very appreciative.
