  • Executed 300- and 600-hour heavy maintenance inspections on the Aero Vodochody L-159 ALCA.
  • Accomplished pre-flight, through-flight, and post-flight inspections for the sortie generation flying.
  • Completed routine maintenance items associated with each jet. Analyzed 30-day aircraft records.
  • Serviced the L-159 with Royco 756 hydraulic fluid, nitrogen, Mobil Jet Oil II, and Jet-A fuel, as required. Performed a whole-system hydraulic fluid flush.
  • Proficient at interpreting and comprehending schematics, illustrated parts breakdowns (IPBs), wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting diagrams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Inspected the integrity of the airframe structure, hardware, hydraulic lines, fuel lines, oil lines, and flight controls for corrosion, damage, stress cracking, and chafing.
  • Drilled-out, stripped screws. Performed minor stop drilling for cracked screw holes on removable panels.
  • Removed the empennage to extract or insert the F124-GA-100 Honeywell engine. With the engine exposed, I performed Aircraft Monitoring System continuity checks and thorough engine component inspections.
  • Removal/installation of the 1st and 2nd system hydraulic pumps, Auxiliary Power Unit, Integrated Drive Generator, PTO shaft, hydraulic accumulators, hydraulic reservoir, and all flight control surfaces for inspection and lubrication.
  • Rigging of flight control surfaces, when required. Entire wing removal/installation to replace the rubber gasket inside both fuel accumulators.
  • Deconfigured/reconfigured F-124-GA-100 engine for shipment. Performed weight and balance, engine alignment into the fuselage, and aircraft alignment.
  • I shadowed an Olympus borescope inspection traveling to the engine combustion chamber for ingested FOD. Participated in a fan shim replacement training.
