LVN Charge Nurse (Dementia/Memory care): As a Charge Nurse I ensure that my residents are ensured quality care during my 8.5hr shift Swing shift. I care for 40 residents and I oversee/Delegate to 4-6 caregivers during my shift. In this time I am coordinating Telehealth calls or out of community Doctor appointments, analyzing test results, coordinating Lab pick ups, accepting medication deliveries, medication reconciliation, medication administration and more. I as well, provide wound care to residents who need it, coordinate Paramedic transfers, Admissions/Readmissions. I’m a flexible person therefore I’m well rounded throughout my facility. We have 3 separate floors to our facility: LOFT, Hospice, Medsurge. I have worked on all three floors and have gotten know all 118 residents we have in the facility. I’m always willing to learn and grow. The passion I have in this field is so immense, I am looking to further my care in due time.
