• As a parts technician for the City of Naperville my job consists of many tasks
• One is inventory, checking inventory daily on our Lube room, Tire room and Battery room to make sure we have what we need in stock for the Naperville Fleet
• I also run weekly inventory reports to ensure our inventory is accurate
• This is essential for us to have parts on the shelf to be installed by our technicians quickly and efficiently
• Another is finding, locating, and ordering parts for our techs to repair Naperville Fleet vehicles in a timely manner
• I deal with many different vendors on a daily basis
• Also, I'm in charge of keeping three fuel sites up and running
• If there is a problem with one of these fuel sites, we are usually able to fix the problem ourselves
• I am also on standby in case there is a problem with these fuel sites every other weekend
• There are other miscellaneous tasks that come with the job
• A few times a week I will need to unload pallets from trucks using our forklift
• I also get parts for operators from different departments like chemicals or hard parts when they walk in
• I really enjoy being a parts technician and working with the people here as well

• As a utility engineer we go through checklist daily to ensure our schools are in great shape
• We take care of some of the maintenance in the building as well as cleaning and keeping the schools neat and organized
• Everyday is a different task such as moving, fixing, or building furniture throughout the building for our staff and students
• Considering when I worked here, we were in a pandemic we took disinfecting and sanitizing extra serious
• We used disinfecting spray guns throughout the building and especially on high touch surfaces

My responsibilities include meeting or exceeding goals

• Such as daily sales goals for retail and commercial departments and maintain a 30% gross profit
• Monitoring and responding to emails throughout the day
• I also oversee a team of 13 people, which includes delegating and holding them accountable when they are not performing
• We hit our goal of becoming a $1.5 million store by years end, which exceeded our goal of $1.3 million

• My duties were to deliver parts to auto repair shops
• As a driver, when I delivered parts, it was very important to have a great attitude and fulfill the customers' demands
• This position also included writing up customers returns and make sure they received the proper credit
• I also stocked and organized parts by category daily
• Operated light trucks to deliver loads as far as 50 miles from home location.
