I am a sophomore at Texas A&M University and am on a pre-nursing track. I am a part of AchieveMates, which is an organization on campus that partners with the Achieve Program. It allows individuals with intellectual disabilities to get their bachelor's degree. My role as an Achievemate is to hang out with my student and make him feel included & wanted at Texas A&M. It truly is so joyous to be a part of such an impactful organization. Along with the combination of working as a CNA, I have been able to be the hands and feet of people in need. My dream is to be able to apply this deep compassion as a nurse!!!
