- Responsible for ensuring proper score positions, depths, board width, board length, board quality, shear operation, and the bailer cyclone
- Utilizes KiwiPlan and PCS software the entire shift
- Consults with Supervisor about moving programs and/or swapping the setups or knives of programs
- Communicates with the Dry End and Wet End about any changes to the program lineup in KiwiPlan
- Performs the caliper test on sheets coming out of the stacker to ensure proper board grade is being used
- Also performs the soak test on sheets coming out of the stacker to ensure good adhesion and good glue lines from both the Singlefacer and the Doublebacker
- Responsible for replacing baler wire when necessary and removing bales of waste and placing them in the appropriate location
- Regularly checks the knife and slitter computers for any anomaly and ensures the proper amount of board is being produced.
