Responsible for ensuring proper score positions, depths, board width, board length, board quality, shear operation, and the bailer cyclone
Utilizes KiwiPlan and PCS software the entire shift
Consults with Supervisor about moving programs and/or swapping the setups or knives of programs
Communicates with the Dry End and Wet End about any changes to the program lineup in KiwiPlan
Performs the caliper test on sheets coming out of the stacker to ensure proper board grade is being used
Also performs the soak test on sheets coming out of the stacker to ensure good adhesion and good glue lines from both the Singlefacer and the Doublebacker
Responsible for replacing baler wire when necessary and removing bales of waste and placing them in the appropriate location
Regularly checks the knife and slitter computers for any anomaly and ensures the proper amount of board is being produced.
Wet End Operator

Hang paper rolls in the Wet End while also adjusting for defects that are observed in the Dry End using the Doublebacker and Singleface Glue Unit
Responsible for moving glue dams, operating the Flute Module Changes, and adjusting settings between modules
