- Started on the PSU Crating team, where I quickly learned the crating process, identifying materials, and solar processes.
Packaged materials and checked for defects in parts before getting sent to the customer.
I then went to be the PSU kitting floor stock coordinator, where I learned the inner workings of ERP LN/Windchill. Transferring material from warehouse to warehouse, to picking and pulling parts for production orders.
Was responsible for reviewing daily, weekly demand spikes in order to keep the kitting production in good standing.
Became the Team Lead over the Kitting and Crating team with goals to show good work values, attention to detail and commitments to quality.
Held Daily PQVC meetings
Helped with material tracking and processing
Coordinated service orders based on material availability and customer dates.
Worked with several project service parts specialists and project managers to find resolves for products and/or materials shortages.
Participated in Lean Six Sigma Training. - Participated in Sub-assembly / Fire Cabinet cross training, learning how to read schematics, drawings, and P&ID's.
- Worked with those teams to get some hands on training.
- Inspected components for quality compliance, correcting defects before final build release.
- Mentored junior technicians on safe procedures, tool use, and troubleshooting methods.
- Maintained a safe work environment by strictly adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Trained new technicians on standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency across the team.
- Demonstrated adaptability when faced with new challenges or technologies, enabling quick mastery of necessary skills.
