Professional Biography

  • Dakota L. Cole is a native of Provo Utah . He enlisted in March of 2019 and underwent recruit training with Company M, 3d Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina.
  • In August of 2019, Corporal Cole completed Marine Combat Training aboard Camp Geiger, North Carolina. In August of 2019 corporal Cole completed the Automotive Organizational Maintenance Course. He was then ordered to 3DMARDIV HQMTM in Okinawa, Japan for duty. He served in multiple billets within the Motor Pool.
  • Corporal Cole transferred in August of 2021 to Camp Fuji, Japan for duty with the Division Support Team. While there, Corporal Cole received a Meritorious Mast for his work as Shop chief for the Motor Transport Maintenance section and the other billets he held.He there learned the arduous task of being in a unit with minimal permanent staff. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2021.
  • Corporal Cole then returned to the 3DMARDIV HQMTM in Okinawa, Japan as a Automotive Maintenance Technician in March 2022.
  • Cole,Dakota transferred In July of 2022 to MCESGHQ MCB Quantico for training as an MSG.Once completed Cole,Dakota was sent to his first post Gaborone Botswana while there he held the billet’s Mess NCO and Driver NCO. He served their 2022-2023
  • Cole,Dakota transferred to DET Baghdad,Iraq in 2023.Their he held the billets Squad leader,training NCO.While there he was promoted to the rank of Sargent E-5. He served their 2023-2024.
  • Cole,Dakota was then transferred to DET Montevideo,Uruguay in 2024.Their held the billite’s Assistant DetCMDR and training NCO. He served there through 2024-2025. In 2025 Cole,Dakota was transferred back to MCB quantico MCESGHQ due to a torn ACL and meniscus Cole,Dakota spent the remaining time in the Marine Corp’s recovering from surgery and physical therapy which lasted from 2025-2026.
