- Multi-trade maintenance technician in a high volume food processing and packaging facility.
- Daily task include working on production equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, high voltage, and low voltage, mechanical work, PM’s, and assisting training newer/less skilled technicians.
- Work on centrifugal and bladder pumps, automated chemical control systems, weighing and packaging equipment, metal detectors, slicing, dicing, and various processing equipment, large automated conveyor systems, counter-weight and electromagnetic shaker tables, optical sorters, and hoist and crane system.
- Worked on equipment such as Ureschel slicing, dicing, and cutting equipment. Various brands of conveyors, consisting of automated lines with 15+ pieces, to small individual homemade conveyors. Very skilled with Hayssen vertical Form-and-Fill baggers, Ishida multi head weighers, Mettler Toledo metal detector conveyors, Kanawha check weighers, 3M case sealers, Littles David and LoveShaw case erectors, Robopac pallet wrappers and pallet setters.
- Strong suited and experienced with fabrication, manual machining on a lathe and mill with stainless steel and aluminum. Very proficient with stainless steel TIG and Stick welding, aluminum TIG, and all shop equipment. Experienced with sanitary stainless steel pipe fitting and welding.
- Also experienced with Allen Bradley controllers, RSlogix programs, troubleshooting PLC's, relay controlled systems, Variable Frequency Drives, Kinetix Servo Controllers, prox's, light curtains, Safety Control Relays, safety circuits, 220/480VAC motors, and AC heaters for equipment. PLC skillset is uploading, downloading, changing controllers, HMI’s, PSCR’s, connecting to controllers for troubleshooting such as Servo motor tuning, toggling inputs/outputs, and occasionally small changes to programs if needed and approved by management. Not a ton of experience with writing program, but open to learning.
- Experienced with VFD's and controllers from Toshiba, Siemens, DanFoss, and Yaskawa.
- Experience with PID's, 4-20 mA signals and sensors, floats, motorized stepper valves, vacuum controllers, temperature and pressure readers and controllers, RTD's, heaters, safety lasers and cameras, programmable Ethernet switches/hubs, computer repair and setup, inkjet/spray printers and direct-heat printers and applicators.
- Lead Maintenance tech in Continuous Improvement team. Work consist on working with production, quality control, and management from all departments to address issues. Common projects such as product loss, machine efficiency, machine-to-operator ergonomics, and equipment implementation. Would work and plan with contractors on installing or removing equipment, piping, flooring, etc. Would work with plant engineer and OEM machine engineers if needed to make parts or changes to machines. Would make sure all aspects of food safety and human safety were followed, budget and planning was maintained and followed, and follow up on impact afterwards.
- Oversee operation of Ammonia system used to control atmosphere temperature and humidity inside the plant and cool water for multiple production lines.
- Along with oversee glycol cooling systems, Freon systems, air compressors, and fire safety systems.
- Completed Ammonia Refrigeration training provided by Wagner Meiner.
- Completed and passed multiple VFD and entry level PLC classes through CBT while employed with US Foods.

- Perform day-to-day maintenance task such as setting up and tearing down the production lines, preventative maintenance task, and work orders as needed.
- Assist production when problems arise.
