Faculty for the Business Education Department at Kapi`olani Community College. Classroom and online instructor of Information Technology and Information and Computer Sciences courses. Course topics include: Computer Literacy and Applications, Tools for the Information Age, Intro to SQL and Database Design, and Help Desk Support Practices.

Accomplishments:

Re-designed and Taught database courses including Introduction to Databases, Database Administration I and Database Administration II courses. Database courses focused on the use of MYSQL but also included discussion on SQL Server, SQLite, and NoSQL databases.

Course topics include: Linux Operating System, Database, and Computer Hardware and Software troubleshooting and repair.

Redesigned and taught database course to include SQL for MySQL, create PHP and HTML web interfaces for MySQL, as well as database design, modeling, and security.

Redesigned Linux Operating System for CentOS course focused on preparing students to take the Linux+ Certification Exam.
