• Reviews documentation for compliance with qualitative and quantitative standards. Represents the clinical department in DHCS site visits.
• Develops and provides corporation-wide clinical staff training events.
• Works closely with the COO and CEO to review program needs and implement solutions informed by program budget.
• Creates weekly clinical program schedule; develops and implements clinical program curriculum, providing operational and clinical staff training on curriculum.
• Responsible for documenting and investigating patient grievances; works closely with VPL as needed to review and address patient grievances.
• On-call to address clinical concerns at all times.
• Works closely with psychiatric providers to develop care plans and meet patient needs.

Works closely with the Clinical Director to meet clinical service needs for 80 patients in primary SUD treatment as well as seeking treatment for comorbid mental health conditions, 6 patients at a dual-diagnosis detox and residential treatment facility, and 6 patients at a primary mental health residential treatment facility:

• Liaises with the VA to support continued care for veterans obtaining services through the VA Community Care contract.
• On-call to address clinical concerns at HBTS and SBH all times; primary on-call clinician one day per week.

Lead Therapist, Infiniti Group LLC - Hope By The Sea and Serene Behavioral Health

June 2022 - February 2023

• Provides oversight, consultation, and training to the therapeutic team of 8 to 10 therapists, assisting with meeting minutes for all staff meetings and training sessions.
• Creates and sends weekly treatment group schedules for 7 site locations (detox, residential, PHP, IOP, primary residential mental health, and dual diagnosis detox and residential).
• Assists with training new staff during onboarding.
• Completes employee annual reviews, action forms, warning notices, and termination, when needed.
• Reviews and approves staff time cards and time off requests. Ensures adequate team staffing.
• Provides BPS assessments and evidence-based individual therapy to patients in detoxification through intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders as well as patients in primary residential mental health treatment.
• Facilitates group therapy (DBT, CBT, Psychoeducation, Narrative Therapy, Family Sculpture, Psychodrama, Life Skills) patients at all program locations.
• Completes Utilization Reviews including ASAM assessments.
• Collaborates with clinical staff and patients to create individualized treatment plans incorporating SMART goals; progress towards goals is assessed weekly.
• Provides weekly family sessions to families of patients.
• On-call one day per week for urgent clinical concerns.

Therapist, Infiniti Group LLC - Pillars Recovery, Hope By The Sea, and Serene Behavioral Health

With the exception of the first five bullet points under the Lead Therapist position, all responsibilities outlined in the Lead Therapist position for Hope By The Sea and Serene Behavioral Health apply.

• Provides DSM-V diagnoses and evidence-based therapy to clients receiving care at two inpatient units and patients presenting to the “Crisis Walk-In Center".
• Provides resource referrals tailored to patient age, level of functioning, and insurance type.
• Collaborates with a team of psychiatric providers and nurses to create a care plan for each patient.
• Acquires hospital placement and coordinates ambulance transportation.
• Coordinates patient discharges and creates and reviews aftercare plans (including instructions for psychiatric medication administration) with patients and their families.
