Dalton Jones

Started at McAninch in the fall of 2015. Started for Jamie Buffington on a sewer crew running top man. Quickly got promoted to pipe layer in the spring of 2016. Worked on a wide variety of jobs with Jamie in my 5 years as pipe layer. Those jobs ranged from your average housing development, specific work at clients houses such as Knapp and his ex wife's house in Urbandale and I spent several years at Facebook in Altoona. We worked on buildings ATN 1 and the last one as a pipe layer was ATN 6.

In 2021 I was promoted to Utility Foreman. As a foreman I have worked on a number of different sites in a number of different locations. I spent time in Templeton where I helped for the second addition. I worked in Council Bluffs for a few months on jobs such as Amazon and Tesla. I spent a good deal of time in Omaha on the SBC Facebook project. I was recently in Cedar Rapids on the QTS data center for several months as well. My early years as a foreman I have spent some time at the PCI Facebook campus working on a wide variety of different buildings. I have also done a lot of development jobs as well as road expansion jobs. In those jobs I work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the job is going smoothly and work closely with city inspectors to ensure everything is going in as they wish and correctly.

I believe I am well suited for this promotion despite having less years of service as the others being interviewed for this opportunity. I feel I am the right person for this job and would be in this position for a long time. Being thirty-two means I have roughly thirty years of working left before I will retire. I have great people skills and work well with everyone in this company.
