When I was a Newspaper Stitcher and Printer, I always made sure that everything was running smoothly and that the machines were always working properly. Stitching was always a tough job to do, there were a total of seven pockets for each page of a newspaper with four usually being used. Hundreds of papers were placed behind you at the machine, with twenty each being stacked into a machine at a quick pace while the machine took the papers onto an assembly line.. Printing involved doing a similar thing, except involving putting an address on each paper before it was delivered, then we had to take the huge load then roll it out to the back mailing room.
