5th Floor Operator

  • Load and Unload Feed Totes For RER Magnets, Reactors, and IP Circuit.
  • Load Leach Vessels with feed from QQ that corresponds with the Leach Schedule.
  • Dump the Leach Vessel in the Wash Column once the 3 Floor Operators have communicated with me that they have been leached and the wash column is empty.
  • Communicate with RER Operators in regards to Feed Changes, Issues in the RER Process, and when they are out of feed.
  • Communicate with 2nd and 3rd Floor Operators when Feed is back on reactors, feed has stopped due to Static or Wet Feed, and Feed Changes.
  • Communicate with I-6 Operators about feed for the RER Magnets, Feed for the IP Circuit, and Feed Changes.
  • Communicate with Standard Pack Operators about Feed for the Reactors.
  • Maintained organized work area by following basic 5S processes and cleaning and removing hazards.
  • Make sure that the Schedule is followed and feed is loaded following the Production Board set by the Supervisor.
  • Insure Quality is met by ensuring that all feed circuits are sealed and clear of trash and debris.

  • Met Set Minimum Goal of 24+ Pallets of Finished Iota Product per Shift with Single Operator unless there was issues with the process due to equipment failure, Maintanence, or lack of feed for the RER Process.
  • Maintained knowledge of industry policies and procedures to set up and operate equipment safely.
  • Performed inspections and routine maintenance on equipment and finished product such as Drum and Pallet Quality per Company Standards.

  • Held weekly meetings with Plant Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisors, Plant Engineers, Co-Ops, Line Leads, and Fellow 5S Champions to discuss processes to clean up the plant, reduce waste, speed up the process of building utility truck beds, increase uniformity of the manufacturing process across the assembly lines, discuss and implement Safety measures plant wide, and perform Audits on assembly lines to see if they meet the goals set by the 5S committee.
  • Communicated with Leads and Supervisors about what lines passed the 5S Goals and what step was next to keep improving them.
  • Communicated with Leads and Supervisors about what lines failed and where they failed in the process. We would then discuss with their Engineer to implement a process or redesign that area of failure to ensure the next audit they would have a better chance of success.
