• Assist in Interventional Radiology procedures as part of a team under the supervision of physicians, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel.
• Help prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Assist in transportation of patients including preparing the stretcher, identifying the patient with arm band, and transportation patient to the OR.

• Preoperative preparation skills; obtained necessary supplies, arranged equipment, created and organized sterile field, performed necessary counts.
• Intra-operative procedural skills; drape, pass instruments and supplies, maintained aseptic technique and organized mayo stand/ back table, properly labeled medications and solutions on sterile field, properly cared for specimens, performed closing counts, apply sterile dressings.
• Post operative procedural skills; break down sterile field, properly dispose of all sharps and one use items, prepared instruments for decontamination, assisted in room turn over between procedures. Performed other duties as needed.

Provided excellent customer service to patients, ensured accurate information was given to patients, assisted with patient screening, and assisted with set up and patient flow through busy immunization clinics.
