As a Cashier at Chipotle Mexican Grill, my main job is to ring up customers, and make sure they get all their items that they want to purchase. But as a cashier, I have other responsibilities depending if I am working the opening, or closing shift. For the opening shift, other than ringing up customers, I have to make sure, the dining room, bathrooms, and the fridge behind the cashier register, is clean and stocked up during my shift. Also, before the closing cashier comes in, the opening cashier has to take out all of their trash from the dining, bathrooms, and patio areas. The closing cashier's responsibilities are similar, except you're required to do more as a closing cashier. As a closing cashier, you have to sweep and mop the dining, bathrooms, make sure the patio is fully closed, and make sure everything is restocked, and make sure everything is done before you clock out.
