Experienced and resilient individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning. Overcame significant personal challenges, including a stage 4 cancer diagnosis during high school, which prevented completion of formal education. Currently in remission for nearly 5 years and determined to obtain GED. Possesses valuable hands-on experience from 2 machine operations roles, gaining expertise in operation and troubleshooting. Developed a diverse skill set as a cashier at The Home Depot, including cash management, customer service, multitasking, and proficiency with key making machines. My latest job provided the opportunity to independently open and close the storefront, while handling all store responsibilities on most days.
I would unlock and prep the store for when we opened, I would then grab all the tickets that printed throughout the night and would do the games that closed around 12 first. Then once all tickets are scanned through, I would reprint any tickets that had errors. After that I scanned the tickets through the high speed scanner and would upload them into the system while also making sure all the tickets went through. Another aspect of my role was to interact with customers and sell lottery tickets to them!
