As both a nursing student and an EVS tech, I've had my fair share of poor interactions with patients and other clinical staff. Alongside my experience working at Layton Hospital as well as working alongside other staff.
As I'm already aware of the layout and procedures of Layton Hospital, as well as the understanding of the nursing and assistant nursing process, I have fewer barriers to entry than other applicants. Alongside this, as I am already an employee of Intermountain Health, I am already up to date on documentation, and already have some experience working with the new Epic system.
Additionally, I already have positive relationships with many members of the interdisciplinary team, including past experiences in charity hospitals.
Ultimately, I can't definitively say that I am the best candidate for the job. What I can definitively say is that I am already aware of concerns to look for in both postpartum mothers, and neonates. I already know the layout and operations of Layton Hospital, including its linen, trash, and bio needs.
If you choose to select me, I will do everything within my power to be an effective member of the team, and do all I can to help the patients and their families.
