• Designed and led the execution of our data infrastructure in public cloud. Advocated for design approvals across numerous architecture review panels. Achieved 99.99% availability for our data tier in public cloud deployments by leveraging multi-AZ setups and zero trust architecture. Improved cost to serve by designing elasticity of infrastructure with auto-scaling capabilities.
• Architect for Big Data teams utilizing technologies such as Elastic Search, MemCached, Redis, and Kafka. Improved service fundamentals by implementing capacity planning, improving monitoring and alerting, and conducting fault modeling exercises.
• Architect for Next Gen Marketing Objects product leading schema management services, tenant mobility covering intra and cross regional movement, FedRAMP compliance, and capacity planning.

• Reviewed designs for my org of 65 engineers and other designs across the broader organization where my teams' were stakeholders. Co chaired the Database and Platform Security Architecture review board for my organization holding weekly reviews.

• Evaluated critical code interactions with data tier to ensure functionality and performance.
• Partnered with engineers across the org to build solutions capable of massive scale.
• Tier 3 support for thousands of multi terabyte databases managing trillions of transactions per day. Engaged in engineering bridges to triage and mitigate issues.
• Subject matter expert for proprietary eventual consistency replication supporting mesh, primary/secondary, and global replication use cases.
• Designed an implemented table migration tooling to support Localization in the customer facing application which allowed the company to expand across the globe in local languages. Tooling supported the migration of tables with billions of rows with zero down time and zero data loss.
• Implemented Resource Governance to minimize impact of Noisy Neighbors and reduce cost to serve.
• Co-chaired release review rhythms where senior engineers reviewed high risk changes reducing deployment issues.
• Co-authored database coding standards used by the entire organization to ensure highly scalable and backwards compatible database changes.
• Reviewed high risk paid tier solutions designed and implemented by the Salesforce support organization.
• Provided white glove engagement for a very large electronic retailer improving their workloads by 25%. Received a personal note of thanks from the SVP of our customer at an internal company all hands where our customer was an invitee.

• Led Y2K testing initiatives for COBOL assets, ensuring system readiness.
• Designed and developed entire suite of front office applications as part of the company migration from Mainframe to Client/Server architecture.

• Co-Designed Customer Service Portal for Credit Card Services

• Designed and implemented inventory system including picking system for wireless handheld devices utilizing telnet protocol.
• Designed and Implemented SMTP Mail Transfer Agent using MIME protocol
• Designed and implemented Special Handling system for credit cards with integration points into all major shipment vendors (FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS). The solution generated a new revenue stream for my employer totaling tens of millions of dollars per year.
• Image editing software catering to photo id credit cards.
• Led a team of 2-3 engineers to build and maintain front office applications.
