Responsible for acquiring new accounts and managing existing accounts in all aspects of concrete demolition within the highly competitive Seattle construction market. The ability to think outside the box using experience and technical savvy to find creative ways to stay ahead of the competition is paramount in this position. Daily management of key accounts ranging from small operation tenant improvement to large scale multi-million-dollar projects. Key responsibilities include high level customer service and daily interaction with key and new accounts, meeting monthly sales goals of $200K - $600K, job site evaluations, setting up lunch and learn business development meetings, reading and analyzing plans and specs to determine scopes of work for bidding purposes, extensive use of Excel spreadsheets for estimating and production analysis, on the job account management of field workers with the ability to lead and direct the team to perform scopes of work “as-bid.” Other responsibilities include monthly contract billing and the ability to negotiate change order requests in high pressure situations daily.
Used the industry standard Global Survey Systems, Inc. (GSSI) ground penetration radar equipment, including but not limited to SIR 3000/4000 with 1.6 MHz antenna, and/or 2.4 GHz Mini/Mini XT antenna, 900 MHz Utility Locating antenna, and RD 7000 Radio Detection Unit for passive locating of in-slab utilities to determine embedded objects within the concrete slab or walls prior to core drilling or sawcutting. This position required the an astute attention to detail and honed analytical skills to decipher and interpret data as collected from the above mentioned equipment and antennas. Knowledge of concrete building construction was required in order to accurately interpret data to maintain the safety of our crews as they performed daily concrete cutting operations, as well as preventing costly repairs to damaged stuctures.
As a lab technician in Quality Assurance I was responsible for the quality and integrity of our product from “wort” through the filtration process to the finished bottled product. Taking responsibility at this level requires that as a technician you are able to perform multiple scientific and analytical procedures with precision and accuracy. Gathering data from multiple areas and various types of equipment, as well as being able to interpret this data and communicate with other departments is paramount in this position. The main duties of this position include, but are not limited to; yeast cell counts (total and viable), Brew-to-fermenter Pump-in cell counts, microscopic utilizing the Beckman Coulter™counter and hemacytometer, monitoring and interpreting information from the industry standard Anton-Parr™Alcolyzer (apparent extract/EtOH analysis), Perkin-Elmer™ Gas Chromatograph (VDK, DMS analysis), spectrophotometric analysis (color/IBU analysis), pH monitoring (relative acidity/alkalinity), Astoria-Pacific™SO2 analysis on all lager beers, membrane filtration and plating (for analysis of beer spoiling bacterial contamination) to ensure the integrity of the product including CIP/COP (Clean In/Out of Place) procedures. All aforementioned procedures are performed daily throughout the brewing/CIP/COP processes.
This position required accountability for all front-end check-stand and cash handling operations. These responsibilities included; but not limited to, extensive cash handling during shift and balancing all drawers at close of shift, monitoring sales, monitoring performance of employees, customer service including attending to customer needs and requests and possible complaints in a professional, effective and efficient manner, daily scheduling including lunches and breaks of all front end employees. PIC’s must possess the knowledge and ability to identify front end problems (computer, customer, POS, etc.) and quickly control and remedy these problems in high pressure situations. PIC’s must also have the ability to operate NCR, IBM based computer applications and software in all front-end control operations in maintaining check stands and daily sales and production reports.
