Project - Active TradingPro is Desktop Trading Platform that provides service to individuals investors, business financial advisors, and institutions. Fidelity manages equity, fixed income, and balanced mutual funds. In addition, platform includes the advanced functionalities and features such as different types of orders and TIF’s which makes the trade more useful and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Follow fast paced Agile/Scram methodology, focus on Equity.

• Attended walkthrough meetings for reviewing the testing process with the QA team, Developers, Projects Managers and Business Analysts. Participate at Daily Stand-up meetings and Sprint Retrospective.

• Work closely with Business Analyst and Project Manager to discuss and collect detailed business requirements and functional documents to create and maintaining detailed and well-structured Test Plan, Test Scenario and Test Cases for the various functional modules of the trading application to meet project deadlines.

• Create Traceability Metrix Document

• Extensively work with Order Management System (OMS) to analyze and test UI Functionalities, verify Trade Blotter with various security types in combination with all Order types and Duration. Testing Capturing, Processing, Confirmation/Matching, Settlement & Notification functionalities.

• Run SQL query for Back-End testing to verify data against source systems applying filters.

• Extensively use VeriFIX to perform End-to-End testing of a Trade Lifecycle.

• Perform manual and automation Regression testing when new changes are employed in the QA environment.

• Performed Manual and Automation testing activities based upon test plans and scripts.

• Read and understand the FIX log files to interpret format and different tag combinations for pre-trade, actual trade and post-trade messages.

• Identify business and technical defects, create descriptive and robust JIRA tickets, provide root cause analysis when defects are identified during SIT and throughout QA lifecycle.

Project - Corporate Bondticker is leading electronic trading platform that enables investment industry professionals to efficiently trade corporate bonds and other types of fixed-income instruments. Accessible over the Web or as part of trading platform.

Responsibilities

• Part of the QA team with focus on Fixed Income in Agile environment and played important role in the Software testing team process, including creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases.

• Analyzed Business Requirements Documents and identified documents required for System and Functional testing.

• Worked closely with Business Analysts, and Project Managers to discuss and collect business requirements.

• Performed GUI, Functional testing, API testing, and Back-end testing.
