The Leverman supervise the dredge crew assigned to their shift and operate the dredge in a safe and productive manner. The Leverman you will be expected to operate the dredge. Additional duties may include, but will be running a boat, operating equipment, and/or performing maintenance duties, with the primary focus on safe overall operations and shift supervision of your assigned crew.

Checked and set up equipment necessary for assigned shift, including drill pipes and other tubular materials.

Issued clear, legible documentation of findings, observations, and results.

Maintained and repaired equipment to reduce or prohibit downtime. Monitored equipment gauges and adjusted settings to regulate rotary table speed and tool pressure.

Responsible for the execution first line maintenance for the drilling equipment according to company procedures.

Carry out basic well control duties applicable for position. Measure and record all critical dimensions of down-hole equipment to be run in well.

Prepares and makes ready all tubulars, handling gear and any equipment associated with forthcoming well operations including (N.O.V, Hydra- Racker, Hydra-Tongs, Elevated back-tongs, Draw-works, Top-Drive system and Torque master bucking- machine).

Ensure that approved rig operation procedures are adhered to at all times. Report all unsafe activities, situations, and potential hazards to supervisors.

Ensure housekeeping is maintained in assigned areas. I mentored, developed and trained crew members to ensure they are competent to work in their position and were appropriately coached and prepare for next position.

Managed the mud system and maintain the drilling fluids. Handling bulk tank material from cement to barite/bentonite. Knowledge of transferring these material to and from boats along with brine and base oil.

Work on 14-P-220 triplex mud pumps

Listened to mud pumps and checked for vibrations and other problems to verify optimum system functioning.

Monitored pump operations to regulate drilling fluid viscosity and weight.

Trained and instructed crew members in safe chemical-handling guidelines.

Performed equipment maintenance. Operated riser and pipe machine during riser running and picking up pipe.

Followed established guidelines and procedures. Maintained good working relationship with co-workers and management.

Finished all tasks and job duties, adhering to deadlines to avoid delays.

Kept work area organized and clutter-free.
