- Rebuilt the enterprise search backend on PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch. Complex queries got much faster and stopped timing out on large customer datasets.
- Added semantic search next to the existing keyword search using vector embeddings. Tuned the hybrid ranking and re-scoring so the top results matched what users were actually looking for.
- Built LLM features for finding, summarizing, classifying, and validating documents. Prompts were structured and tool calls were split into small modules, so each piece could be tested and swapped on its own.
- Wrote and maintained backend services in Python (Django, FastAPI) and TypeScript/Node.js, with clear service boundaries so teams could ship without stepping on each other.
