As head custodian I clean my own section using proper chemicals. If needed I also use proper machinery to make my job easier. I supervise 4 other custodians. I inspect their sections, communicate and work as a team. I help with games and other events. That’s how we make overtime. I help my custodians with anything they need help with. I communicate with other staff and admin.

As regular custodian I vacuumed, swept, mopped classrooms, hallways and restrooms. I communicated directly with my supervisors. I helped with games and other events as well as lunch hour. I swept, mopped and wipe tables down in cafeteria. If staff need help moving furniture, I would bring a dolly and help move things.

I cleaned 12-20 rooms a day. Changing bed sheets, replacing amenities, and communicating with guests. I vacuumed, dusted, swept, mopped and sanitized the rooms. Some rooms are stay overs, so I would replace amenities, make their bed or change sheets if they need it. I restock my cart with sheets and amenities. I also work as laundry attendant. I washed, dried and replace sheets on other carts or closets.
