I am a proud, single mother of a special needs 6-year-old daughter. At birth my daughter was diagnosed with Down Syndrome but to this day this little girl defies all odds. She is self-sufficient, independent, and quite the comedian. My day-to-day interactions remind me daily that no matter the circumstances the show must go on. I am also co-guardian to four of my nephews/nieces all under 10. Every day is an adventure, most days are a chaotic, but at the end of the day I love that my little family is safe, loved and provided for.
