Installed wood, gas and pellet stoves over the span of 4 years for a private contractor. All the work I do here is residential and most was subbed from Ace hardware (multiple locations) or Backyard Billy’s (located in grasonville)

Work included but not to :

• Executed installation, maintenance, and repair of wood, gas, and pellet stoves.
• Finishing work (drywall, tile, painting, trim, etc.)
• Roof, venting and masonry inspections in preparation for potential installs/rehabs
• Framing new structures/additions
• Demolition of existing structures

High and Dry boats works was a boat repair shop located in Charleston, SC. I moved to SC from Maryland in November of 2021 with a friend and began working there. This was my first introduction into boat work and I learned a lot. My friend and I returned to Maryland in 2022 for personal matters. The work here included :

• Fiberglass repairs
• Large scale vacuum bag resin infusion
• Prepared surfaces for painting by sanding, masking off areas, and applying primer
• Applied paint coats evenly and smoothly using spray guns or brushes for a seamless finish
• Maintained a clean working environment by properly disposing of hazardous materials like solvents and paints according to safety regulations
• Assisted colleagues with complex repairs that required additional expertise
• Managed multiple repair projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Consistently met or exceeded productivity targets set by management through communication and teamwork
• Removal of old windows and installation of new
• Interior lodging renovation
• Re-running gas lines

Northpoint construction is a larger commercial construction company operating mostly in Washington D.C. but based in Alexandria. With Northpoint I was responsible for a wide array of responsibilities on and off the field. These include but are not limited to:

• Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
• Direct activities of staff performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
• Documenting all work completed on site.
• Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
• Overseeing the operations of heavy equipment and holding contractors to OSHA standards.
• zoning the site and shutting it down at the end of the work day.

Metro Renovations was a small residential construction company based in Washington DC that had an additional base of operations located on Kent Island, MD. I worked under my father running around the DMV area serving many different purposes. These include but aren't limited to :

• Assisted the superintendent in overseeing construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
• Coordinated with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Assisted in conducting pre-construction meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project goals and expectations
• Reviewed architectural drawings and blueprints to verify accuracy before commencing work on each phase of the project
• Performed regular site visits to assess progress against established milestones and identify potential areas for improvement or risk mitigation
• Coordinated inspections by building officials or third-party inspectors at key stages of construction as required by local regulations
