Work History

Electrical Assembler

1 Year 2 Months
Marvin Engineering Co | 08.2025 - Current
  • Assembled electrical components, including but not limited to: Wire Harnesses, Mechanical/Magnetic Detent devices, and Power Supply Units (PSU) by following technical drawings and work instructions that are detailed within the organization's Business Management system and supplemental data applications such as SAP.
  • Utilized testing equipment such as multimeters, micro-ohmeters, hi-pot testers, various shop aids and program-specific wiring analyzers such as the DIT.MCO, Multi-Point Tester (MPT), and Legacy produced analyzers manufactured by Marvin Test Solutions to verify product integrity and functionality.
  • Collaborated with inspectors, leads and manufacturing engineers when a product presents with non-conformities. Under the delegation of an authorized supervisor, the product is troubleshot and repaired utilizing various instruments. In the circumstance that product integrity has been compromised beyond process indicator thresholds, the non-conformity is to be documented and communicated to all pertinent staff involved in supplementary actions such as filing a Quality Notification (QN).
  • Inspected products during assembly and testing operations to confirm conformance with the IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards while also referencing organizational resources like: Visual Planning, acceptance test procedures (ATP), Training references, and standard practices.
  • Assumed responsibility over departmental record keeping roles for Humidity logging, Calibration of electrical equipment and tooling, as well as the regular retesting of static-dissipating gowns to adhere to the ESD control IAW ANSI/ESD S20.20 regulations.
  • Appointed by Supervisors to the position of verifying and formatting finalized test data into packages that have been reviewed by in-house Quality Control inspectors to then send off to Document Control for DCMA liaison review. The position requires the appointed employee to cross-examine physical test scripts to ensure that the data conforms to the organization's acceptance policies, and is similarly reflective of digital documentations made across the SAP platform. Packages are then organized into dated, serialized, operator-initialized files that are utilized by the organization to maintain compliance with service demands by purchasing agencies.
  • Used precision measuring instruments to check products for adherence to tolerance limits. Familiarity with basic tooling such as: rulers, calipers, torque wrenches/drivers, manual and electronic screwdrivers, hand crimping tooling, industrial crimping machinery, crimp pull-force testers, potting molds, digital magnifiers to inspect delicate solder joints that adhere to the class 3 acceptability standards laid out in J-STD-001 hand solder certification requirements.
  • Completed surface mount soldering of printed circuit boards.
  • Collaborated with Test Department engineers to install and format test programming to all calibrated wire analyzers to reduce departmental testing constraints and improve turnaround times for test operations.
