Highly motivated professional with clean cut appearance. I come from generations of police officers on both sides of family. Dad was commander of police, and mother still works part time for prospect heights police after retiring from there a year ago. I am a lifelong athlete who excelled in football wrestling and track in high school all four years. I am very passionate about whatever I put my mind to. I believe in protecting innocent people and those that cannot protect themselves. I volunteer on Sundays in a group called Life tough kids boxing helping at risk kids teaching them self defense and even kid napping scenarios. The coaches are all handpicked and are either current Chicago police officers, US Marshals, FBI and fireman. I am the only non law enforcement officer and was brought on team because of my boxing/martial arts background and character/ willingness to help others>

Punch in at 6am and have meeting with security supervisor on information passed on from previous shift as well as important information for the day.
Security team would then head over to the warehouse where drivers would load their trucks for the day with new appliances for customers.
When driver was finished loading truck i would have to check their paperwork with inventory of truck and log it into a hand held device. After all checked out i would escort driver and helper to the exit door .
Drivers were then wanded and searched before they were allowed to leave the warehouse.
After all trucks were loaded security would break up into designated roles, mine being front door of the store.
Each officer was required to communicate through radio/earpiece.
Being stationed at front entrance of store, allowed me to catch someone that had been coming in and stealing high end camera lenses . Other security had tried detaining and chasing him on previous shifts but were unsuccessful.
I was able to recognize his face and attire from pictures and videos we had reviewed via cctv cameras. I asked him what he was cupping in his sleeve, suspect took of running out of store through the parking lot. I was able to catch up to suspect who was combative when caught and able to detain him and bring him to my security supervisor. I also went to court to testify on behalf of my company.
