Affiliations

I coached Jr Football, Basketball, and Girls High School Basketball. Volunteered for several years at the Boys & Girls Club ( Pittsfield Ma,) coaching girls and boys basketball, Officiated close to 100 game a year for about ten years. I was a bartender for approximately 25 years, I have also owned and operated a Pub style restaurant.

Certification

While working at Valmet, I was trained to instruct all new employees to operate both fork trucks & overhead cranes. (nationally Certified) Rigging was particularly challenging due to the odd shape pieces that need to be machined or assembled.

Expirence

I was a machinist for 25 years, in 2004 I was hired by Valmet (GL&V) as a machinist. Withinm two years I became manufacturing supervisor of the Lenox Ma. facility. I was responsible for roughly 60 employee's ( Machinist's, Inspectors, Assemblers) I was then asked to start to travel and work for the winder group, i did so until the economy tumbled. I proceeded to go back on the shop floor doing machining and assembly work ( whatever was asked) I did some cnc programming as well. I was then asked if I wanted to work for the refiner/screen/ pulper group. I did that fo 11 years traveling all around the world. stayed with Valmet for 19years. I have immense expirenc at machining DD refiners Pulpers and Screens
