Made welds on pressure parts using many processes and procedures that included GTAW / SMAW / GMAW/ FCAW / My welding certifications for Jaffa construction included stainless steel, Inconel, and duplex. These processes were used on pipe / tube / tanks / headers etc. Butt welds in all positions were common.

In 2020 I went through training to become a CWI and began performing inspections. These inspections included VT to make sure welds were compliant to the code typically ASME Section l & NBIC. I Qaulified procedures drafted travelers mapping a step by step repair plan for boilers and other pressure vessels. Inspecting and measuring spools during fit up. Weld mapping and tracking welds along with making sure procedures and code were followed by others was part of my duty.

In 2022 I was promoted to a General Foreman and had multitasking responsibilities. Communicated with customers, Morning safety meetings, walking down LOTOs to ensure safety of the crew, making sure others were lined out with tasks, ordering tools and making sure equipment was in proper working order was also part of my daily tasks.

In between larger jobs when work was slow I would production weld to keep up skills continuity and maintain my welding certifications.

• Fabricated pipe spools according to P&ID blueprints and specifications. Most Welds were made with a procedure that included GTAW / SMAW
• worked with the Fitters to make sure the spools being built were plumb Square and flanges were two holed.
• Helped fitters with bolt up and installing spools
• Always kept work area cleaned and organized.

• Built pipe spools in the shop using a downhill welding procedure SMAW 6010 before taking the pipe into the field and installing using a rig welder
• rigged the pipe into position by giving signals to the crane operator.
