- Taught one full lesson on electricity. Students were able to learn about how electricity works around them and the basic components of an electric circuit.
- Supervised students during class and transitions.
- Worked on building student-teacher relationships.

- I focused on building student-teacher relationships throughout given hours.
- I observed how a classroom was managed including teacher gestures, transitions, and classroom management (behavior).

- A one-on-one tutoring session with first-grade students. The tutoring session focused on teaching phonics.
- A word wall was constructed to illustrate and showcase the student's favorite words during the span of the placement.
- My main goal was to help students understand letter sounds and move on to the depths of phonics, including digraphs, diphthongs, and much more.
- My second goal of the placement was to help students find the fun in reading literature. Most of the reading included a picture walk which is the process of looking at the pictures rather than the words/sentences on the page.
