Work History

Security Officer

Signal Security
Pensacola Florida
02.2020 - Current

Starting July 1 to present, I have been working at Eden condominiums. I have only worked two shifts thus far. The change was made because MarineMax has moved to an automated system of security.

Overnight security for Marine max in Pensacola Florida from May 18, 2020, to June 30, 2026. I was responsible for keeping over $200 million in inventory safe and secure. I built a rapport with numerous boat-owners. The job was physically demanding as it was required to walk the complete area of the marina with 10 checkpoints six times during an eight hour shift.

I received a “Hero of the Month” award for discovering a fishing vessel taking on water and when the emergency contacts did not respond, I began to bail the vessel with a waist bucket that I found in the restroom for approximately three hours. Fortunately, I was successful in preventing the boat from sinking. After an investigation into the incident, it was discovered that the bilge pump battery had completely expired. Without my efforts, the boat would have surely sank.

Produce Associate

Walmart
Orange Beach, AL
04.2016 - 11.2019

I worked the overnight shift in the produce department. It was my job to go through all of the produce that was on the floor. I went through the various products removing out of date, or old perishables. I also personally unloaded the truck delivering the produce. I then worked through those pallets of product placing them in their respective areas.

Supervisor

G4S Security
Pensacola, FL
11.2008 - 03.2009
  • I was hired on as an Area Supervisor because of my law enforcement experience. My area of supervision extended from Ponce de leon to Mobile Alabama. There were over 200 security officers under my supervision. I kept up with their training, payroll, and scheduling. I would also work the night shift. While working the night shift, I would check on the officers working at the interstate rest stops. That circuit would go from Ponce de Leon to the Florida/Alabama line. when the security officers would call out for work, I would have to get those shifts covered. If I was unable to reach anyone willing to cover the shift, I would have to cover that shift. This was a salary position.

Law Enforcement Officer 2

City of Pensacola
Pensacola, Florida
08.1990 - 03.2003

I started my employment with the city of Pensacola as a Pensacola police Department police cadet. I attended the police Academy located at George Stone vocational Center. I graduated the Academy with high scores. After graduation, an employment opportunity opened up at the Pensacola regional airport police department. I functioned there like any other police patrolman. Because the location fell under the FAA supervision, I would work as a liaison between the city of Pensacola and the federal government.. I received training both with the city of Pensacola police department and the FAA. There would be mock crashes at the airport where crisis actors would play the part of victims in a plane crash. It was pretty lifelike. We would also train on hostage situations where we would have to rush onto aircraft such as the McDonnell Douglas 88. and neutralise the situation. I was also sent out of town for training to places such as the Orlando International Airport.
