  • Supervised the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Battalion's tactical communication systems, combat net radios, COMSEC data transfer devices, wire message terminals, TACSAT radio systems, telephone interfaces, and SOF Deployment Node-Medium (SDN-M) Architecture with a value of more than $2.5 million.
  • Carried out all aspects of communications and automation support including procurement and operation of all computers, line of sight radios and over the horizon communications for ground and aircraft systems valued at over $100 million.
  • Assisted in the installation and management of non-secure and secure local area networks (LAN).
  • Served as Help Desk and Automations NCO, and provided on-site support and training to users on three different networks while enforcing and monitoring security policies and procedures.
  • Acted as Signal Team Leader, and ensured health, welfare, guidance and training of six personnel.
  • Managed signal operations including planning, coordinating and tracking of all shop operations, equipment, and personnel to overseas missions and stateside training with 100% accountability and success rate.
  • Functioned as Signal Shop Foreman: Implemented a maintenance program that enabled all equipment to retain a rapid deployable status.
  • Served as Equipment Maintenance Supervisor: Conducted or supervised all preventive maintenance on vehicles, generators, tactical radios, and network automation systems, which ensured minimal downtime.
  • Performed other appointed duties such as: Signal Team Leader, Signal Operations NCO, COMSEC Custodian, Equipment Maintenance NCO, Assistant Automation NCO, Assistant Hand Receipt Manager, Key Control Manager, and Telephone Control Officer.
  • Provided main support of the Pacific Wind Series 150 system, which allowed air to ground video compression and transmission for all aircraft, giving the pilots and ground force the ability to see the target from a live feed on the move.
  • Served in Operation Enduring Freedom, and provided unprecedented automation support on over 200 users over three different networks.
  • Functioned as COMSEC manager ensuring that all COMSEC was properly accounted for and having zero COMSEC incidents that allowed seamless secure communication across the battlefield.
  • Acknowledged for outstanding service to 2nd battalion 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) as a communications team member through multiple deployment and redeployment of Satellite and Line of Sight (LOS) communication systems worldwide.
  • Recognized for support as the Communications NCO at one of the unit's remote stations in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom from July 2008 to October 2008.
  • Participated in numerous training exercises during my assignment to the 160th SOAR (A).
  • Established, maintained, and made improvements to the communications infrastructure for Forward Arming and Refueling Points, Temporary Duty Assignment exercises, Downed Aircraft Recovery Teams, Flight Lead Evaluations, Special Integration and Missions testing, airborne operations, and forward deployed outstations.
  • Served as the COMSEC custodian for HHC, 2-160th SOAR (A) from July 2008 to January 2011 with zero COMSEC incidents.
