  • Primary support of day-day operations for hulu/Disney+/ ESPN+ product. QC, analyze, and troubleshoot feeds and corresponding hardware for customer facing live streams and partners handoffs.
  • Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support for broadcast related hardware, software, and communications devices at Disney Streaming data centers.
  • Provide operational support of video transmission systems, including SD/HD-SDI, ASI, MPEG and J2K signal types. Encoding, Decoding, and other broadcast transmission related hardware.
  • A working Knowledge of: Video compression standards (MPEG2, H.264/AVC, HEVC). Video transmission protocols/formats (MPEG2 transport stream, SCTE35, ASI, RTP, SRT, RIST). Satellite/RF transmission and reception concepts (Carrier, Transponder, EIRP, Eb/No, Spectrum Analyzer, IRD). IT and Network technology concepts (IP routing/switching, multicast routing, protocol analysis, server management). Packet and signal capture analysis. Uncompressed Digital Video (HD-SDI, 3G, SCTE104, SCTE224).
