• Company Overview: CDM Smith is a global engineering and construction consultancy firm designing smart solutions for the environment, transportation, energy, and water
• Working on the Third-Party Data project which addresses the strategy used for determining the placement of vehicle detection sensors on the Illinois Tollway system - specifically for the Central Tri-State Tollway. The project’s scope was to look at the needs of the users and identify a potential new approach that better addresses those needs.
• Responsible for incident analysis, producing speed charts, traffic heat maps, and accident reports.
• Work closely with many traffic, highways, and data analysis engineers. Daily, I liaise with Illinois Tollway Traffic Operation Center, various sub-contractors, and data providers like Verizon, Here and Inrix to assist them in providing the best possible product.

• Company Overview: TERRA Engineering is a full-service engineering firm with expertise in site development, transportation, traffic and municipality engineering.
• Following the move from the United Kingdom to the United States, I’ve joined Terra and almost immediately was assigned to the Central Tri-State Thirds Party Data project lead by CDM Smith. I work full-time form the CDM Smith office since May 2019

Village of Arlington Heights – Civil Engineer, Arlington Heights, IL| 07/2021 – Present

• Manage major capital improvement projects, including stormwater systems, traffic signalization, and road reconstruction.
• Lead engineer on the Forrest Avenue Stormwater Improvements, a $3.4M project with a 3.3-acre-foot StormTrap vault, detention basins, storm sewers, and roadway restoration.
• Oversaw the Downtown Brick Paver Replacement Program, coordinating with contractors to replace deteriorating pavers in high-traffic pedestrian corridors.
• Manage the Kensington Road & Waterman Avenue Traffic Signal Project, including design coordination, HSIP grant funding, and construction planning.
• Conduct traffic safety studies using Miovision, MUTCD warrants, and Black Cat radar surveys to evaluate traffic service requests, speed limits, and pedestrian crossings.
• Serve as staff liaison to the Bike & Pedestrian Advisory Commission, organizing the annual Community Bike Ride, and advancing pedestrian and bicycle safety initiatives.

• Company Overview: Calderdale Council is a local authority in west Yorkshire county, located in the north-west part of the United Kingdom.
• Leading the team of 10 dedicated professionals
• Liaising with elected members, customers and colleges across all departments and all levels on daily basis
• Monitoring the budgets, KPI’s of the team and reporting it to corporate leads
• Developed costed and resourced programs of work and risk registers to deliver the work identified in project briefs
• Monitor expenditure and progress against, approved budgets to develop programs of work across all Council highway assets

• Delivering the detailed design for West Yorkshire Police Depot, Wythenshawe Interchange and Congleton by-pass.
• BIM Practitioner responsible for CIVIL 3D modelling, preparing Auto Track sweeping paths for vehicles.
• The Congleton by-pass role involved a considerable amount of liaising and working with the India office to design and produce over 8 miles of typical highway design, proposed vehicle restraint system. I was a designated contact for colleagues in Kolkata and for the site staff regarding all technical queries relating to the scheme.

• Company Overview: Highways England is the government-owned company charged with operating, maintaining and improving England’s highways network
• While being an employee of Jacobs Engineering UK I did year-long secondment within Highways England Network Delivery and Development Team. My responsibilities there were:
• Working day-to-day on Area 10 ASC contract schemes.
• Liaising with subcontractors on daily basis, revising scopes of works, target costs and traffic management orders.
• Look over deriving methods for proposed contract rates, to deliver efficient and best value for money solutions.
