Caring and competent Life Skills teacher with 11+ years of experience helping Special Needs students improve their lives by allowing them opportunities to have exceptional learning experiences in a variety of settings.
In addition, I am a member of Safe and Family Empowerment founded by Thelma Scott. We honor scholars and give scholarships to students every year. We believe all children can learn if given an opportunity, regardless of their disability. My students have opportunities to participate in field trips, including the Special Olympics and Spirit Day.
My job is not just a job, it is my passion. I believe in going above and beyond the call of duty with my scholars. Every year, all of my scholars receive awards and certificates. We honor at least 2 scholars per month. At the end of every school year, all scholars would have received an award and certificate, recognizing them for their hard work accomplished throughout the school year.
