- Following safe work practices, which included fall protection and personal protective equipment.
- Measure, cut, thread and assemble new pipe to place assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.
- Test piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
- Set sleeves or inserts to provide support for pipes.
- Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate passage of pipes.
- Installing valves, hangers, supports, and flanges inside piping systems.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
