I am a seasoned, “hands on trained”, old school taught high energy member that is experienced in all aspects of facility operation and maintenance, design, construction and repair of all equipment, proper function & operation of both single & multi storied facilities from commercial, hospital & research industries. I’ve attended a large list of completed certifications and training of PLC, AC/DC motors, variable drive controls & electronic systems monitoring systems. - Job duties include but not limited to all facility equipment operation &/or repair of25 story state of the art animal research facility
- This includes all day to day operations of complete facility, labs, process equipment & exhaust and HVAC systems
- This includes BL3 & BL3+ labs, air locks, lab hoods, biological safety cabinets (BSC), sterilizers & autoclaves
- Trained and responsible for daily operation of55 (5 hp-50 hp) high velocity exhaust fans, variable drive systems & rapid area decontamination
- Factory trained to monitor, troubleshoot, repair & maintain control components thru full time, real time data collection of Johnson Control Medisys building automation monitoring systems
- Duties also consisted of team assistance in preventive maintenance program, troubleshooting & repair of worlds largest high pressure steam sterilizers (14 total) & multiple lab & process steam sterilizers & autoclaves
- Responsible for maintaining animal watering system, RODI water systems, daily testing, monitoring, troubleshooting & repair of high pressure filtration & delivery systems
- Before moving to the IRC facility I held lead position of entire operation of5 story research lab facility adjacent to IRC
- This included maintaining all medical gas, medical vacuum systems
- I maintained HEPA filtration system, glycol pumps, valves, control & monitoring systems
- Performed, documented & reported preventive maintenance data of entire facility equipment
- Scheduled repairs, coordinated staff & any contractors & responded to all alarms & daily maintenance calls
