· Master’s Degree of Fisheries and Aquatic Science through University of Florida IFAS/CALS
· Educational work experience: K-12 (High School) Aquaculture, Marine and Environmental Science, and Biology teacher.
· NOAA SeaGrant intern with University of Florida and Treasure Coast Shellfish – TCS is one of only two oyster farms on FL’s east coast.
· Lab experience includes work with the UF IFAS Molluscan Shellfish Aquaculture and Restoration Lab in Gainesville, FL, under Dr. Huiping Yang. Duties included maintenance of a Recirculating Aquaculture System for hard clams, algal culture, sterilization techniques, flow cytometry, and germ cell cryopreservation.
· Familiar with R and Python programming languages with some experience using ArcGIS Pro.
· Hold UF Aquaculture and Florida Aquaculture Association certifications.
· Hold creative writing awards and publications, including screenwriting credit.
